My husband and I are so eternally grateful for Dr. Wolf and her team! We moved her from out of state with our 13 year old heeler. He has always been anxious and not the nicest guy around. Turns out he has Cushings and has been in treatment with Downtown Knoxville Veterinary and is so much happier! Hamilton is now 14 years old and is thriving! I recently became a mom to a puppy golden who was given to me sick and was underdosed at other vets for parasites, he wasn’t gaining weight and was so lethargic and in pain. I called other vets and they couldnt get me in till next week, even with all of his symptoms. At downtown knox veterinarian, they heard I had a young puppy and immediately MOVED around their own schedule to make time. I have never been met with such knowledgable and kind individuals in my life. Not only do they care deeply about their patients, but about you as well, even wishing me good luck on college exams. I cannot stress enough how amazing this veterinarian is, my puppy is not only growing now but is happy and healthy thanks to them.

Found Dr. Wolf and her New practice last july after our our dogs previous vet Grace Veterinary had just suddenly closed down with no notice or warning. As you can imagine having pets with medical issues and medications, this caused a panic and a frantic search to find a new vet and doctor. Plenty to choose from in knoxville but wasnt willing to settle for some mediocre clinic with poor reviews, poor care or only want to upsell services for my dogs. Did a lot of research, and decided to give Downtown Knox Vet a try. They took us in, and kept everything rolling for our dogs without a hiccup. Being a new business had some concerns and of course it takes time to establish clients, staff and a rhythm. Our dogs were some of Dr. Wolfs first new patients on her own, but she had experience in other practices and her education/involvement with the university was a huge plus. Our experience has been amazing! Dr. Wolf is extremely compassionate, friendly and caring. Her bedside manner, attention to detail, her knowledge and experience is what makes her stand out from the rest. She is passionate and truly loves what she does. It is those qualities that will provide the best care for your pet! The facility is new and state of the art, designed for real veterinary care, not an afterthought in a strip mall. Staff has been amazing, responding to all questions in person, through phone call or email quickly and with a great attitude. Thank you Dr. Wolf and staff for the great care and amazing experience!! I may be a little biased since Dr. Erika Wolf is my sister, but I can honestly say this is one of the most impressive veterinary practices I’ve ever seen. Downtown Knoxville Veterinary is incredibly modern, thoughtfully designed, and truly state-of-the-art. Every detail of the space and the practice feels intentional, creating an environment that is both beautiful and welcoming. Dr. Wolf is one of the most compassionate, thorough, and intelligent people I know. She constantly keeps up with the latest techniques and advancements in veterinary medicine and genuinely cares about every single fury patient and client that walks through the door. Over the past few years, she has devoted countless hours to building a practice that prioritizes the highest level of care and respect for pets and their owners. I actually don’t have any pets myself, but if I did, I would absolutely drive seven hours just to have Dr. Wolf care for them. Not just because she’s my sister, but because she truly provides top-notch veterinary medicine. Knoxville is lucky to have such an outstanding veterinary practice!

Taking a more tailored, in-depth approach to patient care means a lot to me as a first-time dog mom. It was our first time meeting Dr. Wolf and I can already tell that her kindness, compassion, and attention to detail is rooted deep! Honey loved her for sure. She was recommended by a trusted friend and I’m so impressed. Our visit was enjoyable, the staff was great, and the new office is beautiful. Looking forward to DKV becoming our primary vet!
