If I could go lower than 1 star I certainly would. I have a fearful and anxious pup so I expected challenges when boarding. Was told they would follow the instructions we left and that they would take it slow. We even dropped off a day prior to our trip so that way if there were any problems we could make other arrangements. 30 minutes before my scheduled flight the following day I get a call to pickup my dog. After listening to the story from the kennel tech I gathered she was inexperienced and deliberately ignored the instructions provided. As well as when I arrived realized there may be physical limitations as well. Upon inspection of the condition my dog was left in I was horrified. The kennel was disgusting and the other dogs also looked miserable. My dog has been sick since I picked her up and the final straw is her showing symptoms of parasitic or worm infections. I thought I should disregard the poor reviews here but now I know why they have them and strongly encourage you find more experienced professionals.

We took our dog there and could not be happier with the service and compassion that was received. The team from the front of the office to the vet was very professional. The follow-up was very sweet and appreciated. A top shelf vet for sure.

Dr Emily Huetten does go above and beyond for her patients. If you are looking for an animal hospital you will not go wrong going to East West Veterinary Care Center. They cared for my dog when he had a medical need for boarding. I had another dog with major tummy issues - again they cared for him. When my kitty was super sick…they did everything to keep him alive like he was their own. I honestly could go on…everything positive. Today with two dogs and one kitten (thinks he is a dog) every thing is done to care for them. Thank You to the team at East West for everything they do.

I moved here in 2020, right around the pandemic. My husband and I are here in the winter and in Illinois in the summer. I’ll shorten my story. We got a new pomapoo puppy in November 2021 who loved Doc Mullins. Teddie also liked his neighbor Locatelli who lives across the hall in our condos. Fast forward to 2023, Doc Mullins is know taking care of Teddie, Locatelli, Rigatoni, Nelly, and Maverick. All of the new owners have said they are happy and staying with Doc Mullins. This happened to be an accident, and Teddie is now neutered. Thank you Doc Mullins for all the great work you do for our furry patients.

Absolutely recommend this vet to anyone looking for an office that treats you like family and cares for your pets as if they were their own. Dr. Emily has been there for me and my pet family through the years and even though I have to drive 45 minutes to and back home again it’s worth the drive. Thank you East West Vet for being there for us. Thank you Dr. Emily for helping me with all of my babies and a special thanks to Amy office manager for being such a great friend and loving all my pets. This office deserves a 5 star review for sure.
