The Thinking Dog System

We highly recommend Club Canine for dog training, pack-socials and boarding. The trainers are passionate about their work and know what they are doing. Their obedience training program takes time (many months), commitment (daily!), consistency and patience, but we are absolutely pleased with our dog’s positive behavioral changes and increased confidence. We were new to dog training before coming to Club Canine and were not quite sure what to expect. The training is rooted in strengthening the owner-dog relationship by building trust, setting clear boundaries and unlearning seemingly acceptable behaviors (e.g., cuddling and sharing the bed). We started training at home, then progressed to the outdoors before coming to their facilities for group training. Aside from learning valuable skills on how to handle and communicate with our own dog, it has been really nice meeting new people and their canine companions, and seeing how much progress we are all making with every passing week. The only regret is not having started earlier as it would have been much easier to train a puppy than a 4-year-old rescue dog. Regardless, we are glad to have found Club Canine and all the helpful trainers!

When I first got my dog little by little he started acting out. It got to point that I knew that we needed professional training. The thinking dog system is no joke. It is not a quick fix but if you are willing to put the work in, you and your dog will come out better in the end. It became such a huge part of our lives that we have stayed on to do more advanced training. Benji and I qualified with perfect scores in Obedience Rally Novice thanks to the hard work from the team at the Thinking Dog System. He also comes twice a week for daycare and boards here for longer times as well. Benji loves it here and I know that when he stays he is comfortable, happy and is still required to follow rules which he definitely needs.

Club Canine has changed our life! I have two 60 lb. high energy dogs. Life was seriously unmanageable with no structure, I honestly did know where to start on my own. We have been training with Dean and Dallas for over a year and I swear its like i have 2 different dogs. We are continuously learning and growing. When we come across a hurdle I have the confidence to do what is needed. Knowing that I can reach out to an incredible team if i ever have questions or concerns has been such a relief. Our home life is now manageable and my personal confidence is growing along with the confidence I have in my dogs.

We had our first training and behavior meeting this morning with Dean and could not be more excited about raising our puppy the best way possible based on Dean’s experience. He’s very knowledgeable and made a 2 hour meeting fly by with so much valuable information. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a professional trainer.
