(from Google)Trail View State Park is one of my all-time favorite hiking and biking spots. There are separate trails that connect to Bethpage State Park and Stillwell Woods Preserve, and the Cold Spring Harbor Trail is part of the 20-mile Nassau-Suffolk Greenbelt Trail. I had the chance to see some deer running around on the trails, and I really appreciated the park’s natural beauty. I had a great time hiking 15 miles from Trail View Park to Bethpage State Park. It’s definitely a must-visit if you’re in the area. 🪵🍂😎
Nice little place to get some good exercise, and enjoy the fresh air and peace and quiet 🤫🤫🤫. . Pretty nice trail to walk. NO PETS ALLOWED EVER.
I crossed through Trail View State Park, linking Stillwell Woods Preserve with the Cold Spring Harbor Trail. This all shaded narrow strip of land, part of the 20-mile Nassau-Suffolk Greenbelt Trail, is open to hiking and biking. I appreciate the park’s natural beauty, like a fallen tree forming a tunnel and roots becoming part of the trail. While I wouldn’t drive more than half an hour just for this trail, I enjoyed it as part of my 10-mile hike from Cold Spring Harbor to Stillwell Woods Preserve.
Beautifully wooded, various types of flora, native and imported plants, birds, and insects. Great biking trails and walking trails as well. One of my favorite trails to do ever.
A new state park, since 2002 and VERY green -:). The narrow park, runs between 2 other state parks: Bethpage and Cold Spring Harbor. We parked at Woodbury Road lot, (it doesn't seem to have a bathroom) and walked white trail.
