Myself and my dogs love everyone at ASAH!!! I feel like family and always leave with a good understanding of my dogs treatment plans. The past couple of years each of my dogs needed specific treatments. Finn has gotten dental and xrays to monitor his joints. Theo (pictured waiting for his friends to come in) has had a toe amputation, dental, and skin tag removals all with great success. Valley has had dental and oral surgery and got to tag along with Theo on his visit today for an anal gland issue that arose. Dr. Stein does a wonderful job explaining everything in an easy to comprehend way and I always feel assured all my questions are answered. Amanda and Caroline are always supportive and kind at the front desk and always seem happy to see my and my precious fur babies. Thank you all for everything you do for me and my dogs

I cannot recommend them enough. They have been our primary vet for years but only recently has our dog started having serious issues. The level of care has been impressive, I feel that all of the staff has gone above and beyond to work with us, for example I've been in contact with them almost every day for weeks now. They always listen with patience and care and respond very promptly. Best of all is that the dog is doing much better now too. I am extremely grateful for their efforts.

From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. Caroline and Amanda set the tone with their kindness, patience, and professionalism — always greeting us with a smile and making every visit feel less stressful for both us and our dogs. They greet our boys by name with excitement and love each time. Knowing these two are who I speak to each time I enter the office, call, or check out with gives me so much comfort. They always do their best to answer my questions or clarify what I’m unsure of. Each check out includes an email of instructions on how to take care of my boys moving forward beyond the office. The biggest thanks goes to Dr. Stein. He changed our boys and our lives. His compassion, commitment and expertise with thorough explanations went beyond our expectations. He took the time to listen, completely review each part of our boys, and explain everything clearly. Most importantly, he developed a treatment plan that quite literally changed our dog’s life!!! We went from feeling hopeless to seeing our beloved boys thrive again — and we owe it all to Dr. Stein and his amazing team. We can’t thank them enough and wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Stein and his team to anyone who wants exceptional, compassionate care from people who truly love what they do.

Dr Stein saw my dog during Covid very uncomfortable situation at the time we decided not to go forward with treatment.. 4 years later my Maltese relapsed and I decided to go forward with acupuncture for my dog I scheduled an appointment 2 months out’the earliert I could get. They took a deposit and scheduled 8 sessions for acupuncture treatment.. I arranged my schedule to accommodate all of them. 2 days before my appointment they decided to cancel and not provide the much needed treatment for my litttle Sammy . This Vet is extremely rude and irresponsible. He does not care about his clients and evidently is vindictive. How could he let my did suffer for 2 months and then refuse to treat him Do not take your pet there he is a mean nasty person's and does not deserve to care for your precious pet..

I am so happy with ASAH! Dr. Stein and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and kind. I am a nurse practitioner and I am very picky about my dogs care. I have been to 4 different veterinary clinics in both Amherst and the southtowns trying to find a good fit. I have found it! My dog, Hazel, got an ovary sparing spay and also her umbilical hernia fixed. I was able to see the OR which is immaculate. The surgery went very well and Hazel showed no signs of pain. She healed up very nicely. I will be transferring her care and my cats care to Dr. Stein. In my years as an animal lover I have never been able to find a vet who was consistent and took their time with me and my animals…rest assured I have found this in ASAH!
