Petco

I came there today to get vaccinations for my cat3, with 3 cat in tow. One of my 3 carriers had cracked, so I only had two carriers. My plan was to take two cats in, come out with them all vaccinated, put them together in carrier in car, and bring the 3rd cat in the 2nd carrier. The vet tech (Tony) told me he would have to cancel the appointment for the 3rd cat, as he was not in a carrier WHILE IN MY CAR! I explained that I thoroughly read the policy, and there was no such mention of that in the policy. I spoke to the manager, Ken, who was not willing to accommodate me with my scheduled appointment because he had to follow policy, which it is very apparent that neither were truly sure of what they were talking about. Advise everyone to maybe try a different Petco.Very rude and unaccommodating manager and vet tech.

It’s a shame but I’ve had consistent poor consumer experiences at this chain. At the Fairfield store tonight, they had treats listed as buy one get one 50% off. At the register they charged me full price, then when I asked about it the cashier just said, “oh thats wrong” with zero context and just kinda looked away while I looked at her like she was crazy. It was uncomfortable and it shouldn’t have been. Super unprofessional. Do better Petco.

Store was a mess. So many unpacked boxes. Shelves missing a lot of product. The vaccine employees doing absolutely nothing. Just in the way and blocking access to shelves/aisles. Really a disappointing experience.

So far, so good when it comes to their groomers. I've been bringing Nala to this Petco for almost a year and a half, and they are attentive and treat her well.

Great recommendations from mostly friendly staff. Some staff look to be a little unfriendly, but we all have those days!!!! Not always the best prices, most pices of cat furniture can be found cheaper almost anywhere. I also don't like the adoption arrangements there. It is more of a shop not adopted, but that being said, all animals deserve safe and loving homes! My cat loves her flower for her collor from here. I do wish they had more coupons and deals and BOGO'S because things are pretty pricey here. But overall, it's a really amazing atmosphere filled with pet parents and pet lovers!
