Good for going for a walk or cruising on bicycle. A lot of trees along the way. Nice creek so you can sit on the bank. There's a field where remote control planes are flying so you can sit on the bench and watch them.

Biked this entire trail from start in Hellyer Park to finish at the Coyote Creek Visitor Center. The trail is well maintained and quite beautiful. Trees line the first half of the trail in San Jose then as you get closer to Morgan Hill, the trees recede and you are biking through a hotter, drier, more open area; see the video. The water fountain at the Visitor Center definitely saved our butts, very grateful for that. The trail can get busy but when we went there weren’t that many people. We stopped for lunch in Morgan Hill at Mr. Pickle Sandwich Shop (loved it!) then biked over to Halle St and then took the 68 bus back to where we originally parked.

It is a very scenic and relatively flat well-paved trail. There are some off-road trails too. Great for biking ( even for small children like 5 yo )

Great local escape with regular activities happening, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Quick and close access to nature walks that are easy and not too long. Free parking is a bonus with clean public restrooms

A nice way to bike from San Jose to Morgan Hill or vice versa in an hour or less. No traffic other than pedestrians and other bikes to contend with. Depending on where you catch the trail, it's about 12-15 miles one way.
