(from Google)I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this clinic. I walked in with my cat for an eye issue. The doctor came in, briefly looked at my cat’s eye, put a drop in it, and the entire interaction lasted maybe one minute. After that, I was shocked to be charged $165. No one explained the pricing beforehand. I was never given a price list. The only thing mentioned was a “visit fee,” but no one clarified the total expected cost or explained what additional charges would be added. Everything was simply included without transparency. When I questioned the bill and asked why I wasn’t informed in advance, I was told: “You didn’t ask, so we didn’t feel the need to tell you.” That response alone says everything about how this clinic operates. It’s not about the money — it’s about transparency and honesty. Pet owners deserve to know what they’re paying for before being charged. A one-minute exam and one eye drop should not come with surprise charges and dismissive attitudes. I cannot recommend this clinic. Please ask for a full breakdown of costs in writing before agreeing to anything.
Was looking for a new vet for my pet since I’ve moved. I was worried about what was going on with my dog Castro was AMAZING he took his time and explained everything, & answered my questions. I felt my dog was in good hands! The one thing I did not like too much was the front desk not very welcoming kind of with attitude I was already stressing out about what could be wrong with my dog I almost walked out just with how front desk was but thankfully Castro made it much better. I hope no one else has to experience how uncomfortable front desk was. Thank you Castro!
Very positive experience. Quick, efficient. Dr. Castro is an ideal veterinarian - treats, explains, takes extra time to clarify various treatments and find outlets to purchase treatment products.
Our mixed breed dog, Roxy, needed TPLO surgery. Animal Clinics of the woodlands could have not been better in taking care of my dog pre and post operation and through rehabilitation as well. The staff is so friendly and is happy to explain anything to help you understand the process and what is needed.
This Office was amazing, so happy they got my pup in. He was feeling sick and they were able see him next day! Dr.Shelley was very attentive and informing as well as her assistant who saw us. I also loved that I got to be in the room while she checked him out!
