(from Google)Had a lovely picnic and walk around the park. It is well maintained and spacious enough for families as well as large groups. Plenty of parking. I give it three stars only because the bathrooms are not clean nor well kept.
I take my daughter here regularly for a good walk. River access, recreation and even some calisthenics on the path. 😁 Afterwards, hit up the Ice cream shop about a mile away.
Nice little park!!!! Dog friendly. Clean. Friendly people.
Great little park. Have been here for bbqs, baby showers, birthdays and get together. Really nice pavilion and space to have and event. Love the playground...just the right size for toddlers. Walking trail with views of the scenic Chenango River, gosling, ducks and the occasional bunny. Definitely one of my favorite spots.
We visited on our way through town to stretch our legs. The main area around the parking lot is well maintained. Plenty of parking and marked sign. It was rainy when we visited so the park was quiet. My son didn't get to enjoy the playground too much because of the wetness but we did walk the paved trails. The playground was in good condition. It had plenty of picnic tables, a covered Pavillion, benches, playground, sports field, paved trails, bathrooms, plenty of shade trees, a book box, statue, etc. The bathroom could be better maintained. It smelled strong of ammonia and could be cleaned. There is a highway close by so you do get the sound of cars but it was still pretty peaceful. It is by the water as well.
