(from Google)I recently had my daughter's bridal shower at Grumpy Goat and it was just wonderful! Kris was easy to work with, the room was pretty and just plain enough to make the decor all our own. My guests commented on how good the food was and the servers were very helpful. I tried it out for breakfast prior to booking the shower and obviously was very happy. But now I can't wait to try their fish fry and some of their other entrees.
"We had such a wonderful evening here. The atmosphere was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Our server, provided excellent service. The food quality was superb—every bite was a delight. We left feeling happy and well taken care of. Food we had was herb crusted whitefish and Turkey Havarti club sandwich.
A great restaurant sitting in a golf course. Had a lunch meal that was made great. Even in the winter, sitting near the window had a great view. I'm sure it is spectacular in the summer. Nice hidden gem in Elgin
The food here was exceptional. My girlfriend had the Ahi Tuna and I had the Pork porterhouse chop. Mine came with roasted brussel sprouts and polenta. The tuna came with bakcoi and rice. We also had old fashions to drink. The place is quiet and very clean. It would be great for a date night. The prices were to reasonable. All in all we will be back as we had a great experience.
Quiet dining, bar experience, or outdoor seating, the food is always amazing. Service is friendly. Atmosphere is inviting. Some noise in the bar, as expected. Dining room is quiet and intimate. Parking is plentiful.
