(from Google)Such a beautiful park. Came here for the camping and river but found there were other activities to do as well. This park is huge with a few different options as far as camping. We had the group area that can fit 100 campers, way more than we needed. More than a dozen picnic tables and a volleyball net, flushing toilets and showers. There was only one fire ring for the entire group campground which didn't make sense to me. But other than that 5 stars.
I've visited twice now, both for the day. Nice trails with stunning views. Pleasant picnic areas with tables spaced far enough without the feeling of being crowded. Restrooms were very clean.
We had a lovely day hiking and exploring the hatchery here. Would've only been improved by more details on the maps available at the fee station (or more markers on the trails). Not all the trails were named/listed on the map. We hopped on the wrong trail and ended up hiking further than expected to get back. Overall, it was a great day and the park has way more to offer than we were able to see today, so we'll be back for more exploring soon.
Beautiful, especially on a cloudy day, which complements the river very well. Three stars instead of five because of the frolfers and the fee.
Had a lovely time tent camping at Milo McIver! Campground was quiet and clean. We walked to the lake, and drove to the river access areas. Bathrooms/showers were clean. Weather was mild in June. Good place for kids!
