Training under Nic Tolson and iSpeakDogg has been an Awesome experience for me especially, and my best friend James Diesel! We learned so much in such a short time. I remember our first day. JD was a different dog, for the better, after 15 minutes of training from Nic! I couldn’t believe it! I tell Every dog owner I meet about iSpeakDogg and Nic every opportunity I get! Nic is hands down the best dog trainer in the DMV. Not only do he understand the emotional behaviors of a dog, he can spot an aggressive dog a mile away just by reading its body language and the look in it's eyes. I took my 9 year old standard poodle to Nic for obedience training, I thought he was too old to be trained but Nic proved me wrong. Im very impressed with the outcome of the obedience training and I would recommend anyone with a dog to him. I SPEAK DOG is a one stop shop. You can get your dog groomed, trained or even boarding for those much needed vacations, he also does house calls. Last but not least Nic provides RAW FOOD for your fur baby. He is definitely the Dog whisperer 1,000 stars 10/10 recommend.

We had a great experience working with Nic for our 6-year old Lab-mix rescue. We were totally overwhelmed trying to manage our sweet but very high energy and emotionally needy dog and our toddler (who is/was way easier to manage than the dog, if that comparison tells you anything!). While we still have work to do, we learned a lot in Nic’s 6-week beginner’s program and noticed significant improvement in our dog’s behavior. Most importantly, we now have the tools and know-how to continue and progress training at home. Nic uses a variety of methods, tailored to the dog’s individual needs, and he did a great job explaining everything in a factual, balanced, and compassionate way which made us comfortable with his approach. We would definitely consider returning for the intermediate course if/when needed, and recommend iSpeakDog to others!

Nick is amazing with training my dog. He has also boarded her and he kept me updated with videos and pictures during the whole time. He even gave her a bath before I picked her up. He also does grooming. Can’t find anyone better!!

I reached out to Nic, due to a great referral by word of mouth from a complete stranger. She previously, had her dog in training sessions with him & his courses. I must say, everything she mentioned is true! Nic is a very personable, understanding, well knowledgeable and observant in all his training. I'm truly impressed, with this just being my first session. I look forward to continuing training sessions with him & getting my puppy Ginger, the obedience she needs and I require.
