(from Google)Great spot! Many trails, easy parking on street outstanding views.
I ruck a 1.25 mile loop here with a 400ft elevation gain when I want to hike, but I’m pressed for time. It’s a lesser known trail in a residential area l, with beautiful views.
Great trail, with deer and quail and a bench at the top with a great view of the Santa Clara Valley. Can be accessed fairly quickly, in less than a half an hour, or can extend it into a longer hike by heading towards Belgatos if desired.
I came in the spring and there were lost of birds and other animals. It was so lush dense it kind of felt like Hawaii to me. Absolutely would recommend.
It was a really short but lovely hike. Very shaded on the Vista side but that also means it can get muddy if it’s just been raining. I started on the Vista side to valley, and it was very steep. The reason I gave it four stars is because on the vista side, there is a fallen tree blocking the trail. I guess that makes sense as to why everybody else was starting on the valley side .
