Staff and other patrons have made incredibly sexist and aggressive comments to me and several of my female friends. A staff member threatened my sister and a regular/ friend of the owner found my address and threatened to have other people in the bar kill me for rejecting his advancements. Women are unsafe, every surface is sticky, it smells awful, and they have no food. There is absolutely no good reason to go there. There are a million other bars in town that are better than that cesspool.

Want to Long island's little hidden gems George Washington stopped here to have a beer back in the 1700s This has been a tavern for over 250 years amazing Music love to see reckoning band here. Well priced drinks lots of dart boards and a neat little outdoor fire pit area to come outside and smoke and jam out good times.

Very homey and cozy place, both outside and inside. The beer selection is varied and very good, and the drinks are very affordable. Friendly staff members. Aside from outside seating and a cozy little bar, there's not much else to the place, other than an area for darts. Tends to attract the 20-something to early 30's crowd on weeknights, but since it's close to Stonybrook U, that's to be expected. Just one drawback, though: it's cash only and no tabs, so be forewarned.

Such a great night. The bartender, Dave, was very friendly and attentive. Great crowd. No food, but you can order from local restaurants.
