Dr. Garmen is the very best of what you want in a vet. She is caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable and you can trust her to take care of your little fur baby. She will get down on the floor to greet a shy dog like mine and offers advice or share ideas on behavior and such. I will never go to another vet.

This was a first visit after moving to Williamsburg and it could not have gone better. A snow and ice storm caused us to reschedule our visit, which the staff handled very courteously and quickly, fitting us in only 2 days later. The facility is very nice and very clean, attended by two front desk people. Doctor Garman was very thorough in examining our dog, giving us some new tips on her care and feeding. Dr Garman's team contacted our boarding kennel to make sure they knew she would be our vet, and updated her shots and records. As a plus, our pup even got a complementary nail trimming. We're happy we found such a great veterinarian!

We were very happy with our experience at Colonial Veterinary Clinic. Every person with whom we interacted was patient, informative, and helpful. The clinic was bright and clean. The vet who examined our rabbit took her time and was an excellent communicator. We felt like everyone there cared about our pet. Highly recommend!

We are active duty military and move every 2 to 3 years, so over the last 19 years with my cat and 12 years with my dog, my pets have been seen by multiple veterinary clinics, including emergency care. Colonial Veterinary Clinic is, by far, the best care we’ve ever had for our pets. All the providers, technical staff, and reception staff are friendly, courteous, thoughtful, and well educated. You can tell they genuinely love animals! The amount of time and energy they put into making sure our pets are healthy and happy is remarkable. Our provider, Dr. Garman, takes time during appointments, is so personable, explains recommendations and options thoroughly, and genuinely cares about our pets. The staff has also provided external resources for us to better care for our animals on multiple occasions. I appreciate the text and chat options, the online portal and pharmacy options to make medication refills simple, and the effort they take to get us seen on short notice, especially given the older age of my pets. I highly recommend this clinic!!

I really like this vet office. They loved my little puppy (everyone does.) The vet was clear, concise and helpful. The correct-weight heartworm med was a sample, since next month my pup will be heavier.
