Just drove past this place and saw an old man throw a heavy leash at a doberman then corner him in the fenced in area outside and hit the dog. Hoping this wasn’t an employee but allowing anyone on the premises to treat animals like this is disgraceful.

We really enjoy training at SMDTC. The teachers are so knowledgeable and give a lot of one on one teaching. I would highly recommend this Kennel club.

I really like this place! I enjoy the environment, the teachers, and all the help! My doggo and I have learned so much, and we're so excited to see just how much we can do! By the way, my fog is 9 and this is our first class! Melissa said we could come learn, and we have! I feel as though the bond between my dog and I has grown and we understand each other better! The trainers listen carefully to any concerns or questions and are very helpful! We're so excited to see what we get to do next!! "Old dogs can't learn new tricks" is a total lie! Just so ya know! You don't have to have a young dog to come to obedience class! Don't think all hope is lost or that you can't do anything with your dog because they're not under 2 years of age! Like I said, my girlie is 9 and we're setting a goal to make it to sent training! It's so much fun! Come check them out! 💙

Great place for teaching your pup. Fantastic trainers that care a lot about you pet, positive training and they cover everything from simply teaching them to sit and lie down to teach them proper etiquette of entering a building with you not by dragging you through it. I recommend them to anyone looking for a great training experience for themselves and their dog.

It's probably a good idea to let everyone know, you have to have a title on your dog to teach. This ensures the instructor knows what they are teaching.
