(from Google)We brought our 6-year-old female Labrador Retriever, Mercury, to Town & Country Animal Hospital for her annual wellness exam, boosters, and routine bloodwork, and the visit exceeded all expectations. Dr. Courtney Katsur is compassionate, incredibly knowledgeable, and so patient. She gave Mercury a thorough check-up, explained every step in detail, addressed our questions about her energy levels and diet as she approaches her senior years, and made sure everything was handled gently. The real MVPs of the visit were technicians Megan and Shauna. Mercury had to receive 4 shots (including her vaccines) and have blood drawn, which is never her favorite thing. But Megan and Shauna were absolute angels! They spoke to her in the softest, most soothing voices, used treats and gentle pets to keep her distracted and comfortable, and worked as a perfect team—one holding her securely and lovingly while the other administered the shots quickly and with minimal fuss. Thank you, Dr. Katsur, Megan, Shauna, and the whole team—you treated our furry family member like one of your own. We'll be loyal clients for years to come! 🐶❤️ Highly recommend!
Town and country has been great for our dog Sonny. Sonny had his usual nail appointment today and the two techs went above and beyond with him. They did a great job on his nails and even gave him a very good grooming. I recommend town and country to anyone who loves their pet!
Our cat, Gus Gus, has been a patient for healthy visits, sick visits, and the dreaded end of life discussion visits. Every time we have gone to this clinic, I feel confident that my cat is in good hands. Dr. Davis Hall is incredible. He is honest, thorough, and has the best bedside manners. He makes us feel like Gus Gus is family and he is quick to crack a joke to make you feel more at ease. I truly feel like he has our cat’s best interests at heart and will take the time to discuss all options with you. His vet tech and the receptionist with short hair (I’m sorry I don’t remember names, but they both worked on 11/1) have also been truly amazing. I am so grateful that my cat has had such an amazing team. It often feels like healthcare has turned into a numbers game, losing its personal, human (or animal) touch—but this clinic manages to hold on to that genuine care and compassion. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Hall and this clinic.
Have tried several vets over the years, and Town and Country is hands down the best. The vets are always very communicative and explain what is going on throughout the process. I have had minor and major issues with my pup, and the care has always been on point. Appointment availability when I am stressed out worrying sets this practice above all others. Follow up and timely responses to e-mail requests during off hours is phenomenal. Highly recommend!
They sent us an email informing us that our dog was dying of an extremely aggressive form of cancer (hemangiosarcoma) on a Tuesday, and then refused to take our calls or prescribe medication for two days as his condition was rapidly deteriorating. Their email mentioned a blood clotting agent and a steroid to make him more comfortable. We called the office Wednesday morning to request that they prescribe the medication and to ask the doctor some follow-up questions, but were told our doctor was on vacation and unavailable. They eventually agreed to have a different vet call us by the end of the day. Nobody called on Wednesday, and nothing was prescribed. We received a call on Thursday morning, but nobody was on the other end of the line when we picked up. We tried calling back but were told no medication had been prescribed, and the doctor would be in surgery until 9pm and would call us Friday. We explained that we need to speak with a doctor asap. Our dog was panting heavily, seemed to be uncomfortable, and that his condition seemed to be getting worse. They replied that if we think it's such a big deal we should go to an emergency vet. We ended up having to contact an emergency vet for advice, which shouldn't have been necessary. We didn't end up speaking to anyone from this practice until late Thursday, and it was so late that we had to go to an emergency vet that night to finally get our dog his medication. They were quite apologetic, but it mostly just highlighted how inappropriate their behavior toward us had been. Our dog immediately felt better on the medication, and we got a few really good days with him before he had to be put down the following Tuesday, just 7 days after his diagnosis. That he was denied any treatment for two of those days -- and that nobody would respond to even our most basic questions about how to manage his condition -- really disgusts me. He was a large, intelligent dog with complex emotions who deserved to be treated with compassion and dignity at the end of his life. He did not receive the care he needed from this practice. I strongly recommend avoiding this disorganized and callous practice. Our dog deserved better, and so does yours. Response to owner's claim that I am not actually their customer: Our vet at your practice is fully aware that our dog was put to sleep on 9/30, just four days ago. That you cannot remember your patient or locate his records does not surprise me, given your treatment of us. Just to settle this matter for anyone reading this review, I'll attach a photo of the email we received telling us our dog was dying on Tues. 9/23 (names redacted), and a photo of the wonderful rescue dog your practice let suffer -- from burst and bleeding tumor(s) -- for two full days without any medication.
