Green Dog Spa

Since we have moved to Jacksonville, we have been using green dog spa for our shi tzu dog. Our primary groomer has been Arina who has been just incredible! Her expertise, professionalism and caring manner for our dog has been exceptional!!! She greets and cares for our wonderful shi tzu as if he was one of her own pets. The care and attention she has demonstrated for him is unmatched!!! I am heartbroken that Arina is no longer working at this groomer. We will miss her tremendously!

We have been loyal clients of Green Dog Spa for 8 years, but unfortunately had a very negative experience with Arina. A simple misunderstanding regarding a credit on our account had already been clarified over the phone with another groomer as she was not a part of this conversation, yet she later called us with what felt like an agenda to argue. She misinterpreted the situation and used aggressive tactics that were unnecessary and unprofessional. What was most disappointing is that she was not part of the original salon conversation, and turned the situation into a confrontation. Following this call, we were told that after 8 years of bringing our dog here, she is no longer welcome at Green Dog Spa HORRIBLE AND TRAUMATIZING EXPERIENCE. Arina’s aggressive behavior and the way this situation was handled is very concerning. It’s unfortunate that after so many years of loyalty, a single misunderstanding escalated unnecessarily and has resulted in this outcome. Ever since the business changed ownership, things just haven’t been the same, the employees are calling the shots. Also, we are being told that due to our dogs health they no longer wish to proceed with services when her tongue was snipped and we were not told until pick up! Previously, we were always notified in advance of any issues during service. Our dog is in excellent health this was just another tactic used to run us out the door. This experience has been the worst I have ever encountered, disgusted.

I had read some mixed reviews but decided to give Green Dog Spa a try since it’s within walking distance, unlike my usual groomer who is quite a drive away. I am so glad I did—I’m absolutely thrilled with the experience! The team did a wonderful job. They even asked for a photo as inspiration and matched it perfectly. On top of that, they were incredibly thoughtful, reaching out to me when my dog’s hair wasn’t cooperating to ensure I was comfortable with the approach. That level of care and communication truly exceeded my expectations. While their services are on the higher end price-wise, I believe the quality, professionalism, and kindness made it more than worth it. I’ve already had neighbors at my apartment complex ask where my dog was groomed, which speaks for itself. Thank you to the Green Dog Spa team for your time, care, and kindness—you’ve definitely gained a loyal customer! ❤️

Green dog spa was fabulous. I brought my French bulldog there a couple weeks ago because she’s very hard to groom and trim her nails. She had a great time and came back smelling good with her nails nicely trimmed and they also did an extra treatment for shedding, which has been so nice to not have dog hair all over the place. She is rebooked to go back again in a couple weeks. I’ve never had my short haired dog groomed before, but now I will never go back to doing it myself. It was well worth it. The staff was very friendly and obviously loves dogs. Highly recommended.

This place is amazing!! This was my first time here and when I initially walked in, I was struck by how warm and cozy it felt compared to the impersonal, fluorescent lights feel of the big box pet stores that have grooming services. Green Dog Spa feels like one of those upscale boutiques with all the thoughtful touches, the personal pictures and beautiful decorations. I love that I can watch them work on my pup the whole time through these big open picture windows and because the wall is open, my pup can also hear my voice and I can talk to the groomer about my preferences. I found the groomers to be kind and caring. They were patient and gentle with her and took their time when it was an area she didn’t like to get done. It was so sweet to see my dog giving them kisses:) I would definitely recommend giving these guys a try! I’m just so much more relaxed knowing she’s in good hands and I got to run out to enjoy a yummy lunch while was getting a bath! Win-win!
