Outrageously expensive. Save your pocket and travel a little further to the smaller town vets. This place takes advantage of the location. My border collie was an existing patient for two years. They quoted me 1.2K-1.5K for a small surgery to remove a benign growth. When I got a second opinion at DeSoto and then at Spring Hill, they both me quoted 1K less!!! I was a little shocked. This place can definitely bend your arm behind your back if you are in an emergency situation. It’s a shame on the owner, in my opinion. I also felt the customer service isn’t the greatest. I found it difficult over the last few years to get ahold of them when scheduling appointments, both when calling and emailing. However, I always felt like the technicians really cared about my dog during appointments and for that I’m extremely thankful!

Johnson County Animal Hospital is such a great place to bring your cats and dogs for excellent care and courteous service. Dr. Eberhardy is relaxed and knowledgable and gives solid, clear guidance on your pet’s needs, answering all questions and addressing any concerns. All the front desk professionals and the vet techs are helpful and kind and clearly love animals. I’ve been bringing my dogs and pets here for years. Bring your pets here too—you will be glad you did. 🌻

JCAC is a wonderful clinic. We just had our first visit today. They were amazing with my reactive and anxious pair of senior dogs. From the office staff, vet tech, and vet. They were extremely understanding and made plenty of accommodations for us - making sure we could enter without other animals around, letting us wait outside instead of in the clinic, the way they approached and handled the dogs, and more. You can tell they have experience with anxious dogs and it made me feel so much better about the visit. They also reviewed the itemized charges before completing anything which I have never had a vet do! This was amazing for transparency and made me feel like I wasn’t getting blindsided. I am so glad we made the switch to this clinic!
