Petco

This location is a mixed bag, and unfortunately more of a miss with my recent visit. Something about the store gives off a “struggling business” vibe. Many shelves were empty, toys and supplies were quite sparse with bare hooks everywhere, and in-stock products were 2-3x the price of other competitors, e.g., the Nature’s Miracle laundry additive was more than twice the price compared with Chewy or Amazon for the same amount of product in identical packaging, so I couldn’t justify buying anything in store. They also didn’t have the very common Royal Canin blend I purchase for my dog...but they DID have different Lego sets inexplicably displayed for sale? The real purpose of the visit was a dog grooming appointment, and that seemed to go well. Hats off to the groomer for a good in-store experience. However, I noticed my dog’s collar was damaged after the visit with metal finish significantly scraped as if it was dropped on the concrete flooring, and this collar wasn’t cheap. Not thrilled that I have to replace it now, but I suppose this damaged collar can be designated for grooming visits in the future. If you’re in the market for dog food and toys… plan ahead and order online. But if you are looking for various sets from the Lego Botanical Collection, this Petco is for you!

They have a great selection of fish and the staff is super friendly and helpful. They could have had a better selection of dog leashes and harnesses though. I left without buying new ones for my puppy because I couldn't find any I liked...

I was really disappointed with my experience at Petco. The prices are extremely high compared to other pet stores, and it didn’t feel justified by the quality or care I observed. What concerned me most was the condition of the betta fish. Many of them were kept in very small containers, some looking lethargic or unhealthy, which was upsetting to see. On top of that, I noticed what appeared to be a dead betta fish in a trash can? Either way I will not be back here

I am so thrilled with this Petco! I went there looking for a coat for my Wiener-Beagle mix and not only did I find the perfect one with a hood and warm fuzzy fabric on the inside to keep him warm, but it was half off! Everyone there is always so friendly and helpful and I'm very appreciative the huge selection of pet supplies there. Highly recommend!

Mary Jo has been a life saver when it comes to my pet care routine! Mary is knowledgeable, fair and honest in her care. I trust her to do the right thing when it comes to my pet grooming! Because of her action my Pucchu is able to play freely without pain in his paws or ears! Mary Jo is a real pet angel !
