Very professional and efficient. There were a lot of dogs there all at the same time but they do a wonderful job of ushering them through the steps to get processed and ready for surgery all while maintaining their compassion. We truly appreciate them for taking such good care of our baby.

Overall a great experience getting my puppy neutered this past week. Very simple instructions on arrival and pick up, clear prices as well. My only con is that google maps sends you to enter the parking lot in the wrong entrance (yikes!) but otherwise would happily come back here.

Update: Since CSNC claims integrity but also doesn't agree with the term botched, (that I used, I never claimed the veterinary professional used that exact term) I will elaborate. Mila's infection is secondary to more of the uterus being left behind than is standard, as evidenced by the uterine horns being visible on ultrasound. It is standard practice during an ovariohysterectomy to remove most of the uterus leaving only a stump. Also, the incision was made in a non-traditional anatomical location. While a dog being in heat may contribute to the risk of infection, this was not a concern mentioned to us upon booking her appointment. Integrity to me is owning up to a mistake, not denying it. Don't worry, we weren't planning on bringing any of our beloved pets back after realizing how accidents are handled. Original review: My entire family have used Cabarrus spay & Neuter for all of our Neuter and Spay services and have never had an issue up until recently. We took Mila ( adopted from the animal shelter in December) to get spayed at the Cabarrus Spay & Neuter Clinic on Thursday, January 29th. Roughly a week and a half later, she began discharging blood and puss. When this continued until the two week mark, we took her to our veterinarian that we have used and trusted for years with multiple pets. After discussing the time line and history, he recommended an ultrasound to see what was going on inside. With out going into anatomical terminology, the clinic botched the spay. They left far more than what is correct or expected with a spay. I completely understand that mistakes happen, as unfortunate as it is when it happens to your own pet. What I can't understand, is the surgeon doubling down and telling us our trusted family veterinarian didn't see what he saw on the ultrasound. That she remembered performing that surgery 18 days prior (by time this conversation was had) and would be glad to speak with our veterinarian. After us following up with the clinic again, the surgeon did keep her word and call our veterinarian. This conversation apparently ended with "we will have to agree to disagree." Take pride in your work, but take ownership when things go wrong. Integrity is noble value to have. Mila will be taking antibiotics for nearly three weeks, but is feeling much better. Here's to a full recovery for our sweet girl!

Cabarrus Spay & Neuter Clinic is an excellent, affordable place for sterilization and dental cleanings for your pet. I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy who was spayed at the clinic December 1st. Scheduling was easy. I was contacted for scheduling within 24 hours of submitting my request. The day of surgery, drop off and pick up were quick (15 minutes) despite a substantial crowd of people. An employee was even outside assisting with parking.my puppy was nauseous post-op and I was contacted by the clinic requesting permission to administer an anti-nausea medication. It was reassuring to know attention was being given to my puppy’s needs. I scheduled a follow up with my primary vet. They were immediately impressed with the quality and healing of the surgical site. If I ever get another pet, I’d gladly use them again. I also recommend them to others.

I was very impressed with Cabarrus Spay and Neuter Clinic. I was concerned at first that I had to bring my dog here because her private veterinary office charges to have her spayed were too steep for me. What a pleasant surprise when I walked in and immediately noticed how clean, organized and well staffed they were. I was helped immediately and met with professionalism and efficiency from the staff. I could immediately tell that with the large volume of pets they serve nothing was lost on the way the staff handled every new customer. The day of her surgery was awesome the way they check one key in at a time. They had the paperwork ready for my signature. They reviewed my pets records and confirmed her current medication. They very politely answered my nervous questions with compassion and professionalism. I picked her up and knew what to expect because they make sure you know the process well in advance. My private vet had already previously assured me that this was an excellent clinic as they knew what they were doing and that if she as my Stella’s vet had to give me a recommendation it would definitely be the Cabarrus Spay and Neuter Clinic! I will do the same with my pet owner acquaintances and friends.
