(from Google)This park is an amazing place to go with kids in any age and in any season! The playground is safe and clean. There is a bathroom , picnic area , basketball court, soccer field and baseball field.
Nice walk and trail. Beautiful trees and the trees have QR codes on them. Once you scan it tells you the exact tree and all the information. Pretty cool
The pathway is very bouncy and soft on the legs, it was super confortable walking on it. I walked all the way to the bridge but it is blocked off....I really wnated to explore beyond it and the hiking trails. Guess it'll have to wait. Looks beautiful with overgrown plants and bushes though. I checked out the tiny stream and there was sooo much pollution it was gross. Also beware anyone who goes in the water, there is a very large snapping turtle that hides very well. There is a picnic area and friendly chipmunks. lots of dog poop though which should be cleaned up..
Very beautiful park.Must go if you are in the near by area.
I gotta say, I'm a big fan of this park. It's always blissfully empty in the middle of the day, making it the perfect escape. The trails are top-notch too, offering a refreshing and enjoyable hike. Now, here's the unfortunate part—the trash situation. It's not the park's fault, really. It's the people who visit that can't seem to clean up after themselves. It's disheartening to see how little regard some folks have for our precious nature. On the bright side, this place is totally dog-friendly, which is a major plus in my book. The grass and forest are impeccably maintained, creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. And let me tell you, the wildlife here is something to behold. Although, I can't help but wonder if the abundance of wildlife is a cause for concern. All in all, this park has its ups and downs, but it's definitely worth a visit for some much-needed nature therapy.
