(from Google)What an amazing dog park! If you make it all the way to the river, it is an amazing adventure! Highly recommend this park if you want to go for a great hike and get to dip you and your dog in the river!
This is the best dog park.I have been to yet. Everyone who goes there has really good control over their dogs. Their dogs have excellent recall. Please don't go here if you have a poorly trained or aggressive dog. This is the reason why this dog park works so well. There are bags placed all throughout the trails, so you can clean up after your doggies mess.💩 I love that you can have your dog off leash and walk so far! My dog loved it. All the dogs are so friendly😀
This is a huge space that allows dogs to run off leash and take a dip in the river. This was our dog's first off-leash, wilderness experience, and we found interactions with other dogs and their humans at times uncomfortable with some dogs/owners welcoming energetic play, some tolerating it, and others resenting it.
This is by far the best dog walking park I’ve ever been to. It was great to bring our English Bulldog out to get acclimated with other dogs and humans. A couple must haves if it’s your first time. I use the AllTrails App. So I don’t get lost. There are a lot of trails. Bring water and a collapsible bowl for your pup. It’s a walk to the river. Depending on the breed of dog I suppose. Ours gets hot quick. Overall it was a great place with lots of friendly dogs and people. Just what we were looking for.
Fabulous off leash huge dog walking area. Tons of trails, lots of shade, river side trails, just wonderful. Lots of trash cans near the parking but not so much in the park, which is understandable. Pit toilets at the main trailhead. Our fur babies had a fabulous time!! Quite dusty in Sept, just to be aware.
