This lake is so beautiful. I like it better than Lake Arrowhead since it has a long, flat trail that wraps around the lake. The lake is right along the water. I only had a little time before sunset so I didn't go all of the way around but it's beautiful and has exercise posts along the way to make it a full workout.

It took my pup and I around 3 hours to walk all the way around the lake. Mostly because his nose was stuck to the ground...ha

Serene. Not to cold loved it. Even if I didn't catch anything the guy fishing next to us got some good sized trout...recommend.. The place we stayed in was quiet and beautiful.

Lake Gregory Trail is such a hidden gem! A peaceful and scenic walk around the clean, serene lake. We went early in the morning and absolutely loved the beautiful views, fresh breeze, and surrounding trees. It truly felt like paradise.

Parts of the trail are close to the road so careful if you have off leash dogs. Lots of fishermen and sometimes they do not clean up after themselves. Otherwise, it’s a lovely place for a 3 mile loop. Very peaceful and has plenty of parking along the way, passes two dog parks as well. Been coming here nearly every day for 4 months and the trail is good for all ages and physiques. Paid parking in the summer depending on where you are but I’ve never paid. I probably wouldn’t recommend biking unless you got a mountain bike. On summer Fridays, the trail passes by the evening farmers market. Ranger only bothers the fishermen and off leash dogs near the main lot with the big dog park. If you’re lucky, you’ll see a bald eagle, and there’s plenty of hawks.
