Hoochies

I see that Hoochies is doing some remodeling which is the only issue I ever had with the place. Nice people. Great food. The atmosphere felt very camped and cluttered. The old colors looked alright but seemed more suited for a country kitchen rather than a seafood joint. This blue and white scheme seems like a major improvement. Cant wait for them to reopen to see the interior and enjoy some good seafood. If the remodel impresses this will turn into a 5 star review.

It's a neat little place, the food was good and came out hot and fresh. The young man behind counter was friendly and informative. I don't think I'll buy wings again, as you can see 12 wingetts were 18.00 dollars. Thats expensive for technically 6 wings, but they were good. They also do military discount. I would go back.

My family stopped in for a bite to eat. Everyone was satisfied (10yr niece -92yo stepdad). The beans 10/10! The you have got to taste the shrimp quesadillas! I ordered that along with catfish basket. Definitely going to visit again!

Loved it. Great food service and environment. Our entire family enjoyed it.

Fried catfish, shrimp, hush puppies and steak fries was very good. Catfish was full slabs, not nuggets, which I really enjoy, loved the cornmeal batter on the fish. Huge portions. Wife enjoyed her salmon salad, salmon was a bit overcooked but very tasty. We will be back for a boil in the future.
