(from Google)Best vet we've ever had, by far. The DeWitts, Dr's Tavala and Ortiz have cared for 3 of our family's dogs over 10 years. We have used them for every conceivable service over that time, and they have been extraordinary. They treat my dogs as if they are their dogs. I highly recommend them without hesitation.
We love this clinic. The veterinarians here are amazing and thorough. The techs are always friendly and kind to the animals. I love that they give a breakdown of costs and don’t pressure you to do anything. The prices are manageable and the facility is always clean!!
I recently adopted a cat from the Heritage Humane Society and took her to Williamsburg Veterinary Clinic for her first wellness exam. The entire staff, from the front desk to the tech and the veterinarian, Dr. Tavella, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their genuine care for the animals was evident in their interactions. My cat, Ellie, immediately bonded with the tech, jumping up and sitting in her lap while she took notes. Similarly, Ellie was calm when Dr. Tavella administered a shot. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with everyone at the clinic and feel confident in establishing our new family member as one of their patients.
I only give one star because negative stars aren’t allowed. Dr. Chris Dewitt did not do his due diligence with my cat. 2 vet visits for the same month. First he was throwing up. Probably worms he says. Treated him for worms and sent us home. No blood work or imaging. Second visit 2 weeks later for blood in urine. They “pushed on his bladder” and urine came out so he must have a UTI. prescribed him anti inflammatory and antibiotic. Still no imaging or blood work. This was Thursday. By Saturday my Nova was limp. Not peeing.. Took him to the emergency vet. Turns out he had a blockage and needed intensive care. His kidney function levels were so out of range they couldn’t even read them. We were talking end of life care if things didn’t improve. Luckily they did and our sweet boy was a candidate for surgery. He had surgery to clear the blockage. 7000 dollars later. This was after the almost 700 dollars in two visits with him. My husband went to talk to Dr. Chris face to face and tell him what happened. To which his answer was “sorry about your luck”. My luck? Sorry for your negligence. Now was my husband nice after that? No. Who would be? I don’t need a dismissal letter from them. We will NEVER go there again or recommend him as a vet. Sadly there is another review very similar to ours with a much worse outcome. We told him do what you need to at our visits. He clearly did not. Do not recommended.
