(from Google)This store is OK. It had everything I needed which was the most important part since my local pet store is closed. I'm glad it was here or else I would have had to drive even further. When I visited it felt like the store was extra crowded with stuff, the aisles are close together and packed with stuff. It strangely smelled like cigarette smoke... maybe I was just following a very heavy smoker. The cashiers were a bit distracted, but once they looked up from their phones they were helpful and friendly.
I wouldn’t recommend making an appointment at this veterinary hospital. I scheduled an appointment four days in advance, and on the day of the visit I was called and told the appointment had been moved earlier because the doctor needed to leave early. I was traveling from another state so my dog could be seen. While on the way, I called to let them know I would be approximately 11 minutes late due to traffic. They state they allow a 15-minute grace period, which would have put me within my original appointment time anyway. Despite this, the receptionist, Lisa, told me the doctor would not see my dog because he had to leave early. This was confusing, as moments earlier she said the doctor was currently in an appointment and could not be spoken to. It left me questioning whether this decision was actually communicated by the doctor at all. The lack of flexibility, poor communication, and dismissive customer service were extremely frustrating, especially given the effort required to travel from out of state. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this practice.
I had a very disappointing and stressful experience with this Petco veterinary location. Following a serious incident involving my cat, I contacted Petco multiple times and opened an official case. Despite being told that the matter was being taken seriously and that I would receive updates within a specific timeframe, there was a consistent lack of follow-up and written communication. The only proactive contact I received was related to rescheduling an appointment due to the veterinarian being on leave, which does not address the core issue of my complaint. Phone conversations were brief and surface-level, and no formal written explanation or resolution has been provided. When it comes to the health and safety of pets, transparency, accountability, and clear communication are essential. Unfortunately, my experience showed the opposite. I hope this review encourages better customer care, clearer communication, and more responsibility in handling serious concerns involving animals. For your answer Hello, I have contacted Petco multiple times both before and after posting this review and have already opened an official case. Despite this, I have still not received a clear, written response or resolution regarding my complaint. While directing me to another email address publicly is appreciated, my primary expectation is to receive a concrete and written response through my existing case. I hope this matter is addressed properly and brought to a resolution this time.
Took my bulldog sassy a couple weeks ago to get groomed. When I picked her up she was limping And had a red spot on her stomach. The manager says they looked at all the videos and nothing happened when i've been taking my dog there for over two years to get guomed. I never heard about cutting a bulldog's hair. I've got a bunch of spots, missy. Instead of the manager helping all they wanna do is talk over you How can you talk to somebody like that. Very unprofessional!!! then they tell you, they're going to give you a refund,
I just took my dog for grooming and this is what I get… on top of that they took 4 hours and half to bath and cut his hair… this is unacceptable and they make u pay extra for it because it was some of ir tangled but it was not doe that type of service at all!! Never going back to that store… I would have done at home way better that that….
