(from Google)Awesome scuba tour with Anthony! We got to see the best reefs in the marine park, do some swim throughs, and even saw some lobster and eagle rays. Great dive and guide!
We were recommended Scuba Dogs last minute for snorkeling and were told it would be easy to rent equipment and explore on our own. Unfortunately, when we arrived they had run out of gear due to a large cruise group, and we were not given much guidance on where to go. One staff member (Caitlin/Kaitlyn) was kind and helpful and showed us a map, but overall support was limited. We rented a GoPro but didn’t end up seeing any fish or turtles. The snorkel equipment also felt worn, including a snorkel with visible teeth marks. This may be better as part of a guided tour, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a self-guided rental experience if you’re unfamiliar with snorkeling in the area.
Had to postpone for a day due to crazy wind and waves. Had been blowing out of the east at 25-35 for several days. Waves out side were 8-9 feet. As my first dive since certification was good to be back in water. Saw a ton of yellow tail, then a huge school of a bright vertical striped smaller fish, swimming inches from my face. We navigated the underwater museum, visibility was crap. Then we made our way to an adjacent pool, had to travel thru a narrow channel pulling ourselves along with a chain, basically took us to the surface. On the way in my fin got snagged on something, but came loose on the way out tho the surge had increased and we both got thrown around a bit. Manolo was super great.
I had the best experience snorkeling with Yariel on Saturday! We were separated into groups by swimming skill level and assigned a guide, Yariel was mine. Once in the water, every guide made sure everyone got to see the turtles plus they took great videos and photos. Anthony was incredibly kind and courteous to me and my Mom. They made my last day in PR memorable and special. Will come back next time I am in town. Highly reccomend!!!
My husband and I had such an incredible time with our discover scuba diving course with Dale! He was incredible patient with us but also stern enough to ease my nerves and get us in the water. 100/10 would do again.
