Visited with my daughter looking to purchase a 50 to 60 gallon fish tank with supplies. Was completely ignored by staff, wasn’t greeted or even acknowledged at all as we walked through the entire store. Very disheartening especially since we were looking to spend money. Staff completely ignored us even walking by us without saying a word. 0 out 10 experience.

****Edit***** (changed to 1 star rather than 2) Yes i am sure what city your store is in. Unfortunately I did have a bad time in your store and will not be returning. Especially after whomever replied to this review felt it necessary to insinuate that i dont know what city i live in. Thanks for the reply. "Overly helpful." Customer service training is imperative. Stock and prices arent that bad. I just will not be spending my money here. In the only 2 instances that i visited oceans floor i was completely ignored.* I recommend putting the children that work here through some sort of customer service training. 👍🏼

Overall, our experiences with Ocean's Floor aquatic store has been good. The store is clean to the naked eye, neatly arranged with supplies and tanks at the front when you walk in as well as active, live tanks for viewing pleasure and ideas. The aquatic staff are always friendly from our experience and mostly knowledgeable. Around the other side is where the livestock and coral room is located. The livestock tanks are mostly clean. They aren't pristine the way I would like to see them, but they're not covered in algae, have dead fish in the tanks or appearances of sickness in the livestock. However, the amount and variety of livestock leaves much to be desired. Our family likes to walk in and see the fish up close to view the size and make sure that's the type of fish we want but often they don't have what we want or are curious to see and it seems they only have what is typical to sell, the go-to breeds, at least this is the case for the freshwater side. The tank decor at Ocean's Floor is small in variety and quantity..very few driftwood pieces and nature scape items as well as resin decor. The pricing on the decor and plant life seems a little high to me. My family and I have 4 tanks and would love to add stock and decor to them, but with limited variety at Ocean's Floor and few stores in our area that cater specifically to freshwater fish and invertebrates we are left disappointed and looking for other options to get what we want. We will be trying Fishy Business in Columbia to see if they have more of what we are looking for. We would prefer to stay local but because of the reasons noted above we will be looking elsewhere. Ocean's Floor is great if you need something quick, need coral, saltwater fish, water testing (though that too seems high at $7 each test) or some run - of -the -mill freshwater livestock.

This is the best spot in Greenville for fish owners. The store was well organized and well stocked with a wide variety of freshwater and saltwater fish and plants. All the employees were very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. We were first time customers today, but we saw a lot of returning and loyal customers in the store. Will definitely return!

This is an amazing LFS everyone is so knowledgeable and helpful all their stock is always good i am and will always be a customer of theirs
