If you end up going here please avoid Dr sushna…she doesn’t know what she is doing….i was there and she was doing the same thing I was doing before I arrived, googling information!!! How does a vet not have information and relying on google!! Unacceptable!!! Brought my dog in with a rattlesnake bite and she said it’s not a snake bite!! By googling and reading about the case before going in, I was informed that if it is a rattle snake bite action has to be taken immediately and that every minute counts for the survival of the dog. When my dog was examined by Dr sushna she ruled out that it was a rattle snake bite!! And suggested with a different animal so she injected my dog with unnecessary treatment. I even brought it up multiple times are you sure bc I think it is a rattlesnake bite. But she’s the vet I trusted her judgment. After paying for the whole treatment, as I was out side she came out saying there’s a chance it might be a rattlesnake bite.!! I was there a little over an hour!!! Every seconds counts!! She wasted time for unnecessary treatment!! Luckily I immediately went to vca hospital and they did an examination right away and insisted it is a rattlesnake bite snake bite due to the symptoms. No googling no wasting time immediately took action!!! But they suggested to do bloodwork first to make sure venom shows up and that everything else is functioning. I don’t understand why not doing bloodwork was an option with Dr sushna, that shoulda been the first thing to do!! In the end vca handled everything well and provided anti venom. I shoulda known had an issue with Dr sushna 2 years prior but didn’t know it was her until I called today to confirm if it was her who did treatment on my other dog at a different location. I guess she is on rotation for multiple locations. Please I advice if you go to any vet and see the name Dr sushna please request for a different doctor and if that option isn’t available go to a different location.

I’ve been taking my pets here for a while and they’ve always been great, but tonight they really showed me how wonderful they are. On the way to my cats’ appointment, one of my cats crawled up into the open space under my steering wheel and got stuck in the cavity around the steering column. I had no idea that area of the car was open, and I couldn’t get her out. I was really worried because it was getting hot and she was wedged in such a tight space. The entire staff came outside to help. One person was calling their brother for advice, another was googling how to take the car apart, and everyone was trying to figure out how to safely get her out. Dr. Sushma was eventually able to retrieve her from the small space (which could not have been easy). I’m sure her back will be sore tonight after crawling in there, but we are all home safe now. I was on a total adrenaline rush during the whole thing, but they still treated my cats afterwards and made sure everything was okay. I’m so thankful. Thank you, Dr. Sushma and the whole team!

Out of all the vets in the area we choose Abbey because of the people. One of our cats swallowed a piece of plastic. Our regular vet couldn’t fit her in. I called around and Abbey was able to see us. I was truly impressed by how caring everyone was, and how friendly. It’s a peculiar thing how “animal” people are usually not so good as people-people. That’s not the case with Abbey, and it’s a main reason we have chosen to switch away from our old vet and are now part of the Abbey family. Every individual there is genuinely personable and kind. Maddy, Renee, Christina… thanks to you all! On top of it, Dr. Sushma is so sweet with our cats. It’s heartwarming. She’s a “cat-whisperer,” too. And her care is top notch. Not to mention the competitive, fair prices. This is the place. We are so happy to have found them.

My fur baby Cesar was ill. I wasn't sure what was wrong with him. He woke up bleeding from his mouth, I was scared of losing my baby. Im unemployed but they worked with me so that I could be able to give Cesar the medical help he needed. They found a mass in his mouth, thankfully benign. To Dr. Penta and her team took care of my baby, I am forever grateful to them. Her team take care of all of my fur babies as well as help me through my loss. Thank you Dr Penta and thank you Abbey Vet!

Abby Vet is a hidden gem for your pet! They did such a great job with our 9 year old American Eskimo doggy! Very convenient and clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful! Highly recommend! I never knew they were so close by, across from Big O Tires. I’ve driven past it for years and never knew it was here! So lucky to find a great Vet!
