Powerful crashing tide, shimmery black sand and hardly any rocks. Great place to simply admire the ocean, following a short walk on a path through the forest. No amenities, just a quiet natural beach. Apparently frequented by turtles, so activities are limited for the turtles' safety. (No 4-wheelers or dogs for example, but swimming is okay if you can brave the current.)
Strong currents, would not recommend swimming.
At least the area I went to was not a resort or a good time area.
