BEWARE OF HAVING ANY BELONGINGS IN YOUR CAR! Park where there’s more light and not at the end where there’s no lights! LAST NIGHT, 10/20/2025: someone smashed our window and stole our backpack in our car! No one saw anything and we filed a police report as well! BEWARE AND BE SAFE Other than that, the park is beautiful to walk but not safe for your belongings. Never parking there again. Only walking from home to there now.

Manhasset Valley Park offers a serene escape for both individuals and families. Parking is plentiful, with additional options nearby (on East Shore Road), ensuring accessibility. Educational elements, such as the flagged plants awaiting planting, add an informative touch. Despite its proximity to a main road and shopping mall (Macy’s), the park maintains a peaceful ambiance, shielding visitors from the noise of passing cars. As nature blooms, the park’s beauty is likely to enhance further. Manhasset Valley Park serves as a valuable retreat, offering a much-needed respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life, and exemplifies the importance of such green spaces in every community.

It was rather cool weather (when I visited) in the mid-fall season. The small park is an idea place for reading or taking a short stroll. Several benches are in the area, no picnic tables. It is also a shorter-stay park with limited time parking along Shore Road.

Absolutely love love love this park! I work in the area and every single day on my lunch break I walk down to this park and take a walk. It is such a beautiful and nice park. Believe it or not being so close to Northern you can still truly enjoy and embrace the sounds and sights of nature. I absolutely love the geese here! Before I started coming here it was like I always knew there where geese here but after I started coming here everyday and watching them and there behavior I truly begun to love and appreciate them. There are loving kind beautiful birds that people could actually learn from. They take care of each other and communicate with all there different honks. They care for there young just like any human couple would and they mate for life. I absolutely love the regulars here that also come to this park. We say Hi all the time and all take a second to watch the geese, ducks, and of course the turtles!!! I could post a million pictures of this park but for now here are some of my favorites.

Nice size turf baseball field. Clean, well maintained dugouts, decent size parking, small kids playground. Restrooms just steps away. Soccer field adjacent to baseball field, too. Short walking path overlooking a creek, plenty of benches along the path.
