I can’t say enough good things about every single one of the staff members at this clinic. To put it simply: you probably won’t find another emergency clinic with staff more kind, caring, attentive, detail-oriented, and talented than this one. I’d give 100 stars if I could. Also, for what it’s worth, Rumble wants to drag me IN to the building when we come for blood donations, so this clinic has his stamp of approval too! It’s an enormous relief knowing that every single person has your pet’s best interest at heart and takes it very seriously. I appreciated the way everyone was so careful to accommodate Rumble’s drug sensitivities during surgery. I have the utmost trust in each doctor we’ve met here (Dr. Karriker, Dr. Troy, and Dr. Telenko) and I appreciate everything they do. Every Tech and assistant is amazing as well, I appreciate you all! Rumble had a surgical procedure done today, 2/23/2026, and I was kept informed every step of the way. The communication was fantastic and greatly appreciated. Estimates were readily provided with transparency, and everyone was so willing to work with my budget. The initial care plan was thoroughly constructed to meet Rumble’s needs and they took time to explain it all very well. When we ended up needing to adjust that plan, it was again communicated very well. Rumble’s incision was even smaller than I expected, and it was neat and tidy. Beautiful closure, I was thrilled when I saw it!

My mom has a 10 week old puppy that suddenly started having some extremely gross and severe bowel movements. We took her to another emergency vet when her symptoms first started, they forgot about us and then sent her home without running any test. We decided to bring her here to VEHC and the staff was extremely attentive, understanding of our concerns, and worked really hard to help us figure out what was going on with this sweet baby. They made sure that we knew what was going on every step of the way, and really put us at ease with the level of care we knew mom's sweet girl would be receiving. Thank you for your help and providing us and sweet Sophie with next level care.

VEHC took care of my baby and me during the worst day of our lives. it’s been over 4 months and i still have a hard time writing this, but i feel it’s important. on april 4, 2025, i noticed my 4 year old tuxedo cat named Pickle was in respiratory distress. she was diagnosed asthmatic and despite her inhaler and meds, would occasionally have these flair ups. not wanting to risk it, i took her to our normal vet (Petfolk) and had her admitted. pretty rapidly she started to decline. Petfolk decided it was in her best interest to send her to VEHC for emergent treatment. Petfolk was gracious enough to have two vet nurses drive their personal car with an ambu bag with my baby to get her to VEHC safely, where she was immediately admitted. VEHC provided PHENOMENAL care for my sick baby and did everything they could. unfortunately, my beautiful 4 year-old baby, Pickle, passed away at 6:15am on 4/5/25. her little lungs couldnt handle her disease. however, VEHC went ABOVE AND BEYOND to provide my baby with excellent care in her final hours. I am still in pain, but im provided a little peace knowing she was loved and snuggled until she gained her wings. they kept me updated, allowed me ample time (HOURS) in the visitation room, and walked me through all the next steps. in the worst hours of my life, im grateful i had VEHC by my side. even after her passing, they sent me a remarkably kind letter that provided comfort. all pics attached, including my beautiful Pickle, who i will meet again one day. my heart hurts without her, but im so grateful she had the best care she couldve received. i wouldnt be able to live with myself any other way.

If you have an emergency for your fur baby, I highly recommend this hospital!! They are some of the most caring, compassionate, and hardworking people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. My first baby Leo dealt with urinary issues which ended in a urinary obstruction, and I am forever grateful I brought him here. They took him right in, and did quite literally everything in their power to help my baby fight. Even though we did end up having to let him go, their helpfulness and kindness will never be forgotten (I still have the card they sent me after he passed on my refrigerator, it’s never leaving!). I recently visited this clinic again with my other cat, Oscar, as he was showing similar signs to a urinary obstruction after a routine vet visit earlier in the day. Luckily, he ended up urinating in the car on the way there, but they still took him back immediately, made sure he was okay, cleaned him and his carrier, and gave me the reassurance I so desperately needed. I genuinely am so grateful for this place and to know that I have somewhere to take my babies in their time of crisis that really cares about the animals. You can tell in every interaction that these people truly love every baby like their own. I could not recommend VEHC more!! Special thank you to Adyson, Paige, Jamee, Ali, Dr. Karriker, and the incredibly sweet tech who helped us with oscar last night (i did forget her name i am so sorry but she was INCREDIBLE) and all of the VECH who took care of my boys. including pics of my babies as their thank you, and Oscar says he’s feeling much better) ❤️❤️❤️

I have been here 3 times, 2 of those was being with my friend for her dog to donate blood! They’ve all been great and this past Friday I had to unexpectedly take my 7 pound dachshund in as she had a bowel movement like usual except her anal gland just stayed swollen. I haven’t dealt with anal gland issues in my 15 years of being a dog owner so this set true panic into me. We took my girl in within 45 minutes and the staff there was just amazing. They recognized us from when we came to have my friends dog donate blood and they quickly got to the bottom of it. They told me to wait 24 hours before bringing her back if she had not had a bowel movement. My overprotective nature called the moment it hit 24 hours without a BM and they assured me to just wait a little bit longer. Within the following hour my girl finally had a BM and has had 3 more since now that her body is regulating again. The swelling has gone down almost to nothing thanks for the medication and my own diligence of giving it to her. But the staff was amazing in my multiple calls/questions/etc. I’m so sorry to Kasey/Casey for being the one who answered the phone every time😂 I can’t thank the VEHC staff enough for making this easy. We know who to go to if we ever have another emergency (fingers crossed we won’t!) pic of my sweet girl in her cone and drugged for fun❤️
