Farr Park

The park is more for older children, but my toddlers did like the swing and climbing up the equipment (with assistance) and going down the big wide slides. My other kids were 4 and 5 year olds, so they were brave enough to go on the equipment. There is a climbing rock that even I find a bit intimidating to get off of and a tall spider web style climber that leads to a tall tube slide. It was fast and the favorite in my group.

This would be a great park, but it’s been overrun by folks who have taken up residence there. My children have baseball practice at the park in the evenings. Some of the park’s new “residents” walk around and yell at parents and children. They hang out in the bathrooms, and I don’t feel safe allowing young kids to use them while we’re there for practice. I’m giving the park two stars because it offers a lot— playground equipment, basketball court, baseball field with backstop, covered pavilion with tables; however, the current state of the park makes it impossible to enjoy.

Climbe the two story spider web design netting to a tube slide that is about 70, maybe 75 feet long. Another challenging park from the City of Greeley. Please be careful.

No dogs allowed. It’s a huge space that would be nice to walk the dogs around. Shame dogs are not allowed.
