(from Google)⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t recommend Meg highly enough! When Zion came home at 8 weeks old, I was told he was a Black Mouth Cur mix. Turns out he’s a full-on Belgian Malinois – surprise! That could have been a recipe for chaos, but the foundation he got in Meg’s puppy classes literally saved us. From day one she taught clear, positive, and practical principles: focus games, impulse control, polite greetings, crate manners, and how to channel crazy puppy energy into something productive. Those early lessons gave me the tools to keep raising him long after class ended. At one year old now, Zion is confident, extremely well-mannered, and an absolute joy everywhere we go – people can’t believe a high-drive working Malinois can be this calm and under control in public. The best part? Everything she taught was force-free, fun, and built an incredible bond between us. She saw the Maligator in him before I did and gently prepared me for what was coming, without ever making me feel overwhelmed. If you have a puppy – any breed, but especially a smart, intense one – start with Meg. Those puppy classes were the single best investment I ever made in my dog. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me raise Zion Berlin into the incredible dog he is today! 🐾❤️ – Andrea & Zion Berlin (the “surprise” Malinois)
Love, love, love this place for anything you need dog training related. Meg is super knowledgeable on all things dogs, and truly cares about every dog that comes into her building. You definitely can't go wrong choosing this business to help your dog be the best version of themselves!
Before training with Meg my lab, Chase, weighed over 100lbs and could not leave the house. He pulled incredibly hard on leash and could make anyone fall down to the ground. Since working with Meg, Chase has lost 15 lbs and reduced chronic ear infections with the best diet change. He’s an absolute gentleman on leash and we enjoy many weekends off leash. Chase has made a weekly visit to a local coffee shop part of his routine. He’s able to visit breweries, stores and the local playground with our son. We owe this huge lifestyle change to Meg.
Meg is a fantastic trainer! My goldendoodle pup used to be bonkers on a leash. We tried group classes, a different trainer, and finally we found Meg. She is fantastic about listening to what I wanted (loose leash walking) and making that the priority while also including work on other skills (off leash walking - who knew this was even in the cards for me and my crazy dog!) She is all about being fair to the dog and making sure we meet their needs, and I really appreciate this approach. Training has made a huge difference in the lifestyle I can have with my dog! Here is a picture is of my dog at a restaurant, not trying to run around or bark at people.
I worked with Meg to help me improve my communication and relationship with my large and often obstinate dog. The foundation she gave to us has made a world of difference. From nutrition, to housing, to activities, and dog psychology - the advice she gave has all provided WAY more value than the cost of her services in our everyday lives. I could not recommend her more highly.
