Absolutely beautiful place to visit. Well maintained, clean, and lots of wildlife to see. Pavilions are available and bathrooms are neatly kept. This is a beautiful hidden gem. The water is crystal clear and shallow so it's easy for children to wade in the water. The entrance fee is only $7 per car.

Took a trip to Carney Island and saw Lake Weir and Little Lake Weir. The trees were absolutely gorgeous and so were the lakes. If you got the time take the trip, only about a half hour drive from Silver Springs. Beautiful pavilions and picnicking areas and playgrounds.

Beautiful Pavillion with beautiful views to celebrate with our friends for our FRIENDSGIVING CELEBRATION HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Clean bathrooms and changing rooms for swimming. Beach looked nice, to cold for me to swim. Honor system for paying $7.00 seemed reasonable for our event per person.

Lovely little beach on lake Weir. Very nice grounds, tge water is crystal clear and they keep the swimming area free of weeds and grasses. It's a nice little spot to chill and swim.
