Mau House Cat Hotel

We tried this hotel for the first time. We brought 2 our cats here for a week, because we needed to go out of state. We first came to see the place, and were really glad to see that the cats here have rooms, not cages. They have plenty of space for a walk, windows with a view, shelves and chairs on different levels to chill. We brought our food, some blankets and favorite scratching pole, so our cats will feel almost like home. The workers in the hotel followed our feeding schedule for our kitties. Julie, the owner, was so nice sending me daily updates and even cats' pictures, so I did feel connected even being far away from my babies. We are definitely going to use this hotel again in the future. The prices are different depending on the size of the room, but reasonable, I have to say. Thank you, Julie and your workers for taking care of my cats! I highly recommend this place to other cat owners. Just keep in mind to place reservation ahead of time, because this hotel is pretty popular and busy.

I love it! The place is clean. The humans are friendly and understanding. It's clear that they genuinely care about the cats in their care. The feline boarders seem happy there. I highly recommend Mau House Cat Hotel to pet parents.

Our cat is well cared for while staying at Mau House. We provide our cat's food and treats with detailed instructions for the staff. We are able to bring in our cat's toys, bed, etc, so our cat feels comfortable with familiar things during his stay. The staff provide some affection during the day. The spacious rooms are former veterinary exam rooms rather than small cubbies and can accommodate multiple cats from the same household. Our cat has grown more relaxed with each Mau House stay (now 4 times). Julie is flexible to work with and has accommodated our schedule when she is able. Waffles has stayed here now at least 3 times. Every time, the care and consideration from staff and Julie herself is just fabulous. They're great with his daily meds too! He's such a people cat and they really get that. I've had situations come up, and they're so understanding when it comes to figuring out drop offs and pick ups. Going through that right now actually! Seriously so grateful for them, we drive from Hayward to bring him there!

Absolutely recommend Mau House Cat Hotel! Our senior cat, Alice, stayed there for a week, and we couldn’t have been happier with the care she received. The owner stayed in constant communication, sending us pictures and updates to ensure Alice was comfortable throughout her stay.
