I've taken two obedience classes with my young rescue dog and now I take her to Jodie's day academy. I'm always impressed with Jodie's skill with meeting dogs where they are at with their training. She's a generous and supportive trainer. My shy dog dog adores Jodie, and quickly started looking forward to going to class and to daycare.

Jodie is the GOAT. We have been through a handful of trainers over the years and she is hands down the best one in town. She is kind, knowledgeable, and a delight to work with.

I spoke about my concerns with my dog to Jodi, she recommended group classes which I didn’t agree with but she’s the professional. We did group classes, my dog struggled so much and also didn’t get the attention she needed to address the concerns I had mentioned. Group Classrs are better for dogs who need basic training such as sit stay place down. Anything beyond that, I do not recommend the group classes. I also paid for multiple classes but ended up needed to move my last one and I had contacted Jodi multiple times to ask about attending a separate session since she stated that was an option. She never responded and I lost out on my money. But I guess it’s not a total loss since the group classes weren’t helpful for my dog.

Worked with us on a delayed new puppy- all money was forwarded to next class. Her style is good and her examples are done with ‘non pre taught’ dogs from active class. We are in our second & third classes with her. She definitely knows how to positively train dogs.

Jodie is the best!!! She’s the most talented, patient, and accommodating dog trainer I’ve ever worked with. Truly has a “way” with dogs. She has been amazing helping us with our dog’s severe reactivity and separation anxiety and does everything possible to make Winnie feel comfortable when we board him at the facility. Her facilities are sparkling clean and well maintained. She has also helped us with basic obedience training for our new puppy and we couldn’t be more pleased with how she’s developing so far! You are in excellent hands if you take your dog here for boarding, classes, or private training!
