First time at Talyard Brewing Co. and Hannah truly made the experience. From the moment I mentioned it was my first time, she was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive. She kept checking on us throughout our visit, answered all of our questions, and gave such great recommendations. I was craving something sweet and she suggested the ice cream and cookies, honestly the perfect combo. The selection of non-alcoholic beverages was also really impressive. I spent time upstairs enjoying the beautiful weather, watching the games on the big screen, and overall just had a great time. Excellent service made the whole experience even better!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Service & Seamless Banquet Experience Our company recently hosted a banquet at this restaurant/brewery, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. The staff (shout out to our boy, Ron!) went above and beyond to make sure every detail was handled — from the room setup and décor to the timing of food service. Their team worked with us flawlessly, even accommodating our presentation needs with reliable audio and visual support. The service was attentive without ever feeling intrusive, and the food was terrific. Every member of our group had something positive to say about both the quality of the meal and the professionalism of the staff. If you’re looking for a venue that combines great food, excellent service, and the ability to support corporate or special events with ease, this is absolutely the place. Highly recommend for banquets, celebrations, and group gatherings.

Beer was ok and not bad for happy hr prices. For the pickleball players….we had made a reservation for 3:30 play to secure a court for that half hr, but we were told we couldn’t play anymore even though the courts were empty. So basically you have to pay $10 every 30 mins to play. I feel like there should be a better set up there especially since our large table alone spent almost $300 there. There should be open play if a court is not reserved, just my opinion.

Tallyard Brewing offers a great compound with plenty of activities for the whole family, making it more than just a brewery stop. The food and beer were decent overall. I tried the Edel Pils, which was crisp with a clean bitterness on the finish. The Fried Yard Bird was fine—crispy and flavorful with sauce that paired well, though the bread didn’t quite hold up. Fries were a highlight: hot, crispy, and well-seasoned. A solid spot to relax, grab a bite, and enjoy time with friends or family.

A friend of mine recommended this spot, and even though it was a little outside of our usual area, we decided to check it out—and I’m so glad we did. When you first pull up, the place is huge with plenty of parking, which is always a plus. As you walk toward the entrance, you’ll notice the brewery on the right, with large glass doors giving you a peek inside—it’s a pretty cool sight. Once you step inside, the space opens up wide with tons of seating, lots of smiling faces, and a family-friendly vibe. On the right side, you’ll find the barbecue pit masters in action, serving up mouthwatering dishes right in front of you. You can actually see the impressive pit where all the magic happens. We took some time to explore. First stop: the brewery. We tried a few drinks, including some surprisingly good seltzers. After that, we grabbed a pizza—absolutely delicious with tons of topping options. They also have a solid dessert menu if you’ve got a sweet tooth. Now for the star of the show: the barbecue. Let me tell you, it was incredible—some of the best I’ve had in a long time. And it wasn’t just the meats—the sides were just as good, which is rare. Usually, one outshines the other, but here, everything hit the mark. We had a chance to chat with one of the supervising pit masters, Jason Hammer. Super friendly and knowledgeable—he really made us feel like we were visiting a friend’s place. He even gave us a little tour and introduced us to a few folks. Upstairs, above the brewery, we found a lounge area with couches and TVs where we could just chill and people-watch (because let’s be honest, after a few drinks, that’s top-tier entertainment). The bathrooms were another unexpected highlight—spacious, very clean, and with multiple locations throughout the place, so no long waits. That alone deserves a shout-out. We ended up staying for about six hours—eating, drinking, meeting new people, and enjoying the atmosphere. It’s definitely become one of my new favorite hangouts. Whether you’re local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and check this place out. It’s absolutely worth it. Deliciously Toxic Foodie
