It's a little park but surrounded by beautiful trails. Very peaceful and quiet.

A moderate trail for most people. I saw kids often. Lots of wild flowers near the trailhead by the pond. Ample parking. Ed Levin Park hasn’t been collecting the 6-dollar parking fee since the pandemic but will resume on 4/5/2021.

This is the southernmost trailhead in the park has a couple of nice short trails. Spring Valley Trail is a short loop on a grassy hill with a couple of oak trees. The western half is currently closed, but it connects north to the rest of the park, and also loops back to the lake along a creek by the main road. Los Coches ridge is about 2 miles round trip, it forks from spring valley and descends down a shrubby area past a road, then goes up the ridge through a woody area. The ridge itself is mostly grassy, I saw a couple of calves, and there were three turkey vultures perched on this gazebo. The views of the Bay Area aren’t super amazing, and there’s a decent amount of road noise throughout the entire hike, but the picnic table is still quite nice and peaceful. There are a couple of trails back they all go through more grassland before going downhill through the woody area along the side of the hill before looping back up at the road from earlier.
