Pet Supplies Plus Hollywood

Been a customer for a few years, never used grooming. When they got the new remodel and added in a self serve dog wash I started using it. Nice area, they even have upgrades if you want. The first time I went into the grooming place for help because I was not sure how to use it and the groomers helped me set everything up. They offered nail trim for my dog as a “bonus” and I took it. They did a good job and I’ve used them for nails in my dog since. They’re very kind and gentle which I like. Prices are good and people are nice

The pickup policy at this store is the most unbelievably stupid thing I have ever experienced. Not even Best Buy, which is a huge major retailer, has rules this ridiculous. They require you to show ID and the physical card you paid with. What if you paid using an online service like Affirm or Klarna? How are you supposed to show a card that does not even exist. And they do not accept the confirmation email as proof of purchase. Completely useless policy, no logic, no common sense. Whoever came up with this rule clearly has no idea how people actually shop today. Absolutely ridiculous. USELESS

We’ve shopped at Pet Supplies Plus before and have generally had good experiences, but this one was disappointing. We purchased a 35 lb bag of Purina Pro dog food that ended up being infested with bugs and what appeared to be fly eggs. The store replaced it without issue, which we appreciated, and told us that if it happened again to bring both receipts for a refund. Unfortunately, the replacement bag had the same issue. When we opened it, bugs crawled out immediately. We emptied it into our dog food container hoping to salvage it, but the entire bag was contaminated and ultimately had to be thrown away. When I returned with both receipts, I was told the full bag needed to be brought in for a refund. I understand store policies, but given the circumstances and the fact that this was a repeat issue, I was hoping for more flexibility. What’s frustrating is that we buy the same food regularly from Pet Supermarket and have never had this issue. At this point, we’ll likely be shopping there moving forward. Hoping this was just a bad batch and that inventory checks are improved. EDIT: The store manager personally reached out, offered a full refund, and took the time to recommend a few alternative brands for us to try. I really appreciated the customer service and willingness to make things right. That level of follow-up goes a long way.

I often find myself in the shopping plaza and need supplies for my pet. Pet Supplies Plus Hollywood has a nice selection of Redford Naturals products. The store employees tend to be courteous and helpful. Its conveniently located where I can pop in and out without incident. I like that my discounts come in handy often too!! I have been shopping at one of their stores from Michigan to Florida. They have treated my furbabies well.

We miss Valerie. The best groomer. Super friendly and welcoming. She worked from her heart !
