My family has been using Dr. Hodge and the team for over 10 years. Everyone is so welcoming and they do everything they can to get our pets in and make them feel comfortable while at the vet. He even has an office in South Tampa that has an A+ staff!!! We have had to go to the South Tampa office when we had an emergency with our cat Maui. A

What I'm about to say has traumatized me, and it puts a dark cloud over the death of my best friend. About 5 years ago I brought my best friend, Tyson, to them because there was obviously something very wrong with my Ty Ty. It was determined that his kidneys were failing. The vet recommended that he be euthanized. This is when the trauma happens. I was in shock and I wasn't thinking clearly enough to demand the chance to be alone with Tyson to say my goodbye. The vet immediately injects him with death shot and as proof that Tyson was gone, he poked him in the eye. He was still laying on the metal examination table. The worst part is that I wasn't given the chance to say goodbye, and I would have preferred to hold him in my arms as he passed away. After it was done, I asked to hold Tyson and to be alone with him for a few minutes. As I was crying and saying goodbye to my best friend and thanking him for saving my life, I heard the vet's assistance exclaim three times "He does love him". So, I guess for some reason the vet thought I didn't care about Tyson and that was why he was so cold during the euthanization. Unfortunately, I still cry when I think about Tyson. The sadness I feel about the euthanization is now the prominent memory I have when I think of Tyson. It hurts so much that I avoid looking at his pictures. He was my BEST friend and I loved him more than I love myself. He saved me, literally. Anyway, I'm mainly writing this in an attempt to have some closure and to, hopefully, alleviate some of my pain and sadness. I love you, Tyson. Thank you for entering my life at a time when I needed your unconditional love. I miss you deeply. ❤️

Always amazing! I love this practice and am so happy I found them! Dr Hodge and everybody there takes such good care of my Neva. They take the time if you have questions and explain everything! Highly recommend!

Dr. Hodge and his entire team are truly exceptional professionals and, even more importantly, exceptional human beings. He was our dog’s vet for a little over 8 years, and throughout all that time we were always met with empathy, kindness, and outstanding care. Everyone in the office was attentive, compassionate, and great at following up. During our dog’s final days, Dr. Hodge guided us with so much sensitivity, providing resources, clarity, and emotional support every step of the way, even after our dog passed. In his final moments, Dr. Hodge and his staff were incredibly supportive, gave us the space we needed, and made us feel like they were mourning with us. That meant more to us than words can express. We cannot recommend this team enough. Their knowledge, experience, compassion, and genuine care are unmatched. Anyone who chooses Dr. Hodge and his staff will be in the very best hands. Thank you for everything, Dr. Hodge, Paula, Edwin, Eniko, Tabitha, and Alicia. You are truly amazing people, and we are forever grateful for the love and care you showed our family and our Chewy.

Annual wellness checkup…. Outstanding service, thorough examination of our dachshund Roxie Joy. The doctor took his time to review his examination and thoroughly explained each procedure giving his recommendations and reasons why or benefits of following them..Dr Hodge is easy to speak with has been our Veterinary Doctor for the past 5 years. We highly recommend him and his awesome staff! Our Roxie Joy loves going to the Cross Creek Animal Medical Center and gets super excited to each of them.
