(from Google)A great place for walking, it has large paved tracks two beaches and many picnic areas. The two beaches are so-so, not appealing at low tide but decent at high tide. Saw some winter avian residents this week.
BEAUTIFUL park with great views! Great place for walking, running, walking the dog, or just enjoying the outdoors. Spacious. Easy to find space away from others.
One of my favorite places to go for a walk, picnic, or trip to the beach in Stamford. The sunrises and sunsets are always gorgeous near the shore. Many people walk their dogs, and there’s also a playground for children. During the summer, a beach permit is required otherwise you’ll have to pay for a day pass.
Came here for the day with my dog. Great place for her to run around but unfortunately dogs aren’t allowed on the sand. Many different fields to lay on, paths to walk and water to dip in! Parking is expensive if you aren’t a resident and could take some time to get up the street but definitely doable with about a 15 min walk… Nice spot to spend the day that has all in one beach & park!
Miles of neat walking and biking paths. Gorgeous views of Long Island sound. Nice beach. Convenient restrooms at either end. Needs a season pass (for stamford residents) or a day pass for non residents to enter via vehicle and park. There's a free tram that runs in the summer and takes you around the whole park if you are walking or biking challenged! Picnic benches abound. Great place for a picnic lunch.
