(from Google)The 1st dam entering into Logan Canyon is a beautiful park for picnics, a fun area for fishing,a safe area for bike rides and jogging, or to just sit at the edge and listen to the ducks as they talk with each other. It's a great place for families, to spend time with friends, or to go on a date.
Beautiful location. Ducks & geese. Floats, paddle boards for non-motorized recreation allowed. Docks to fish from. Nice picnic terrace and walkway under the road. Lots of parking and restroom facilities.
One of my favorite places in Logan. There are picnic tables, fishing docks, benches, and grassy areas. Parking is somewhat limited, but you can usually find a spot. PLEASE do not feed the wildlife here, especially bread. It will kill them.
in the summer you can even enjoy the company of hatchlings of geese. Wildlife is beautiful in its true wild colors. Nowadays the the birds are migrating so sometimes you will see a lot of them and on the other weekends you won't see any.
Fun! Lots of shade and grass!! A couple different access points into the water. Calm water. A lot of duck poop 🦆💩 but still a fun place to be!
