Petco Grooming

Dog is traumatized. Our very playful puppy went in for grooming. The groomer said he needed to be buzzed due to matting. He had some matting on his back but not on his head, stomach, or tail. they didn't follow what we asked and shaved his whole body. He is refusing to play, walk, and has been scared for the last few days of everything. This was a fearless dog. My husband also witnessed the groomer behind rough with another dog. Never use this place, I'm hoping I don't need to take my dog to the vet for anxiety meds after this.

I have been taking my dog to Petco Grooming for several years. She, and I, have always been treated with the utmost of respect. She comes home happy, clean, and very nicely trimmed. The groomers are wonderful!! Thank you Petco!!

Hi, I’m George, a very good boy with very high grooming standards. I just got back from Petco Grooming in Beaverton and wow, what a treat! The groomers gave me a fresh haircut and a nice warm bath, and now I feel like a brand-new pup. 🛁✂️ They were super gentle, patient, and even told me I was handsome (which, let’s be honest, is just the truth). My fur is soft, my paws are clean, and I smell amazing — my human can’t stop cuddling me! 10/10 belly rubs. I’ll definitely be back! – George 🐶

I brought my dog in to be groomed and shaved. I have been bringing her there every nine weeks since she was a puppy, and everything was great. When I brought her in on Friday, they refused to shave her and only gave her a bath, I feel that they did not provide enough time to provide the services I requested and overbooked. I received a call from Star, The grooming manager, and she told me that the only gave her a bath and that I needed to pick her up. I said that I needed her shaved and she refused to provide the services I requested and told me that I needed to pick up my dog. Of course, I got frustrated and insisted that they do what I asked them to do since it took me so long to schedule the appointment (Called for a week no one answered the phone nor answered several voicemail messages I had left, had to call the manager inside Petco to actually get them to answer the phone). Star spoke to me in a passive aggressive tone, was rude and should not have a management position of any kind. she would not listen, and not provide the services that I requested. Because I became frustrated with the fact that she would not listen, not only did they not provide the services I asked for, She also stated we were no longer allowed to bring our dog to Petco For services. The audacity of her to do that since we have been a customer since my dog was a puppy. She obviously feels she has enough business that she can lose $125 of business every nine weeks. She also proceeded to say how they are shorthanded and busy, that is why I feel they did not provide enough time to provide the services needed. I have been a manager in medical field for 32 years and I would terminate an employee that treated customers the way she did. They were supposed to shave and bathe my dog and they literally charged me $89 to bathe my dog and not even trim her eyes. Extremely frustrated with services and feel I am due a full refund. I also caught a Star In a lie, which infuriates me even more. Rivky The actual groomer, Is sweet and kind.

Meg is super friendly and fantastic at her job. I take our two pitties in for nail clips and buffing once every five weeks or so, and she is always quick, efficient, obviously loves pups, and does a perfect job getting the nails short. She’s bathed our pups before too and they were clean and happy. It’s nice to see the same face each visit and she can get to know our pups.
