Petravice Family Preserve

Nice place to hike about 1 hr and very pretty and clean.

This park is very nice. It has some very nice trails with lots of trees and views of the river at certain points. You can find birds and alligators around the corner. They have little bridges and spots deep signaled for fishing. I would definitely recommend.

I'm really impressed with the amazing hiking spots I've been discovering recently. This Preserve has a few awesome hiking trails. It's really peaceful and quiet. It has plenty of parking spots and a nice and clean restroom. The Pavillion is really pretty, and it has two charcoal grills and a green area where kids can play.

Nice little outing. No fancy turns or cross roads, easy to follow. Different elevation was nice, change of pace. Bugs were not a problem. Not much for birds, but you could hear them. Parking was ok, has a Pavillion to sit or cook in. No water available. Much was covered with canopy trees on trail. Glimpses of river has you stroll next to it.

A well maintained and little known preserve. Beautiful wide paths through native woodlands past streams and crossing rivers. Lots of birds to listen to. Covered areas to picnic and grills available. Kayak launching areas near ample parking. Best news… it’s all free.
