Obsessed with this Italian spot! 🇮🇹✨ The food was incredible — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. Every bite was chef’s kiss. Hannah gave us the sweetest, most attentive service and made the whole experience even better. 10/10 — already thinking about coming back. 🍝

What a perfect restaurant experience. It’s actually reminiscent of how things were pre covid. Excellent happy hour. Great service, food, and a warm atmosphere. We don’t even live in upland but would move here surely just to have access to an Italian restaurant this quaint. I imagine the summer outdoor dining is wonderful and we’ll be back to try it out.

Allegro is an upland staple. The restaurant is no frills; charming without needing to be gaudy. Visited for lunch on a weekday, it's honestly a lovely environment. The food left a bit to be desired, but overall good. The soup was bland tasting but the chicken sandwich was tasty. I'm looking forward to going again and trying something different.

Update: they have improved their food, and it as great as it was before! They also have a delicious and reasonable lunch special Mon-Fri, $17 - several options. —old review: This used to be my favorite Italian restaurant in the area. Unfortunately, over the last few months each time I visit I have a different experience. Sometimes the food is great like it used to be and sometimes it is not good at all. They have been inconsistent in the quality of the food and they have raised their prices to levels that seem somewhat unreasonable for the location and menu offerings. I expect to pay over $20 for a plate of just pasta (no meat added) in Claremont, but I don't expect that kind of price from a restaurant on a side street in Upland. This location used to have the best chicken fettuccine, but the increased prices and inconsistent quality makes it not worth taking the chance of a less than great experience by dining here. The garlic bread is delicious when it is served hot. Overall I cannot recommend this place anymore, but if you do dine here I hope it is one of the times that they are on their game and the food and service are good.

Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Went on Wednesday and they had half price wine which was nice. Upbeat, busy vibe. Tables and seating are tight but arranged nicely for a small place. Service was amazing, shout out to Jen, she was such a doll. Her fun, upbeat service only added to our night! The food was excellent, recommend the Salmon two sauce and Chicken Marsala. We ordered the bread service and that was delicious as well. Parking is tight in the downtown area. Lots to do after dinner right by the restaurant so it’s a great place to start on a date or with a group. Highly recommend. Will be back next Wednesday!
