Best pet supply store around. The staff are super helpful and friendly, knowledgeable about products and dietary concerns regarding your pets. They even help carry out heavy kibble bags to your car if you need it. Awesome people.

My daughter and I love this place. We got her hamster here and the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with everything and the hamster is healthy and happy. They helped with picking Housing, feed, bedding etc. This is the only place we go now for supplies. It's fun to play with the cats and parrots also.

Asked for live fuzzies. I checked once I was home and I was given a dead one that was discolored. They have 2 specific associates who not that great with people. One is an older lady with glasses who always has her hair in a ponytail and she is very passive aggressive. I've seen her snatch products out of associates and customers hands (also blatantly talked about associates to other associates on the floor about "THANK YOU! Where were you when they put the wrong bedding in there"). The other a caucasian female with brown hair, I was looking around and decided to grab something from the deli. I looked at the deli and didn't see anyone. I turned and saw an associate and asked "Hi I was wondering if anyone can help me at the deli?" She said yes. She was on a ladder and was coming down. I said "Sorry" because I wasn't in a rush and felt bad that she was getting off the ladder to help. I expected to wait for a few minutes for someone else to come by. And she gave me 1 dead discolored fuzzy followed by a "next time let them know at the register so they could let one of us know". I understand her frustration, but I didnt realize I was going to get fuzzies or else I would have. I also added a picture of the fuzzy. Its a black/blue color instead of the pink skin tone.

When it is decision time for finding the safest and the priced correctly feed and supplements from friendly helpfully people you don't expect all of these elements to be accessible so easily. The crew - the product and clearly an excellent process pours from the hearts of the staff of this gem in Modesto. Their front door should say we love you because clearly they do. This is my favorite pet store ever! Evelyn greets me by name when I come in and knows just what I'm looking for. They even opened an entire shipment of boxes searching for my rabbit's fave hay topper! Their selection is perfect for my needs since I have 5 cats and a rabbit, plus they're right next to Safeway where I grocery shop! Couldn't ask for better placement. I highly recommend this store for anyone with a variety of pet needs.
