Worst customer service I was told I was next to be helped in the fish department and then see him having a whole conversation with another customer that come after me after waiting over 20 minutes. Biggest waste of time do not recommend this place no customer service adequacy at all. I stick to pet supplies plus that actually are attentive to there customers not making people feel Discriminative.

I recently have gotten into fish keeping and the more I realize the pricing on certain fish I realize how this place charges top quality prices when their fish look mid to average. Stores like absolutely fish in Clifton nj are absolutely worth the trip if you’re looking for top quality healthy fish. The fish here are healthy but the prices are insane, there plants are all mushy and brown. The only good thing I got to say is the lady at the front is very nice and sweet and their frozen fish food section is great pricing. Omar tried to sell me a bunch of things such as polishing pads for a much higher price then I’ve seen at chain stores like Petsmart which is literally right across the street and exactly what I did when I found out their prices lol. Rockland aquarium is my favorite local shop their prices even beat Petsmarts sometimes which is definitely a competitor in the area. This place truly turned me off when I went in to check out their cardinal tetras to finish the stocking of my apistogramma Macmasteri tank and found out that they charge over $80 for 10 cardinal tetras. This was very shocking to me as I could go anywhere else and get them for much cheaper, even online stores have them cheaper with shipping fees included I could get the 12 I wanted for around $50-60 online. This truly turned me off from this store and unfortunately I will not be returning for regular purchases that my fish will need as rockland aquarium can get it done for me with their competitive pricing which is awesome. I don’t like to bash stores with hate reviews but these prices are ridiculous, I get stores need to charge what they charge in order to keep the lights on but doing so in the way this store does isn’t the right way.

SHOULD NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE!!! They have bad social skills , they are very noisy, and they don’t sell you fish only if you buy there recommended size tank , very not recommended….. they have bad service. They keep you up there even you’re in a rush , basically just don’t shop there . There are so more many good pet shops like petco etc.

Had my aquarium aqua scraped by Omar this guys the best friendly and extremely knowledgeable the tank came out beautiful I’m very happy. Aside from transforming the tank he gave me the knowledge on how to upkeep it. I would recommend this shop I don’t usually post reviews but I had too after my experience Posted an update picture of my tank. Tank is doing awesome

Great store. They have a wide variety of tropical fish, salt water fish, reptiles, birds, and mamals. Their selection of fish equipment is very good. They also have aquarium tanks, water treatments, aquarium hardscape, lights, and filters. Overall great store and great staff.
