(from Google)This is an important beach as it is habitat for leatherback turtles who come to just their eggs here in the spring. That is why there are red lights at night, because bright lights deter the turtles from burying their eggs. Please remain respectful of this and help PR to protect and respect this important species.
Really nice beach, not too crowded, generally clean, with a small playground at the entrance, and a beach volleyball court. Not sure how easy it's to park around here, but would recommend.
Gorgeous views! You’ll find people walking their dogs, playing beach volleyball, listening to music, surfing. The beach is about 40 min walk end to end so also great for a run or long walk. Clean water, nice sand and city views ❤️🔥
Amazing beach and a bunch of shade, the waves are medium and fun to be inside. Water looks picturesque and very inviting. More private than public and very easy to relax
Nice beach, good for a nice long walk and very accessible to santurce area. No showers that we saw but a number of streets give public access directly. People walking dogs and walk looks like a volleyball clinic nearby. Sandy bottom but still a bit steep so the waves crash quickly.
